LaGard developed the Gard Series software for the AuditGard (66E) lock systems. The programming and auditing software are compatible with a number of operating systems, including both the 32 and 64-bit version of the recently released Windows 7. To accompany this software Kaba Mas is releasing a new USB Interface adapter. The USB adapter will replace the serial adapter (p/n 42150) which was used with previous software versions. As the computer industry moves away from the RS-232 communication port, the USB is now the standard for hardware peripherals. The new GARD
software supports the serial adapter, but switching to the new USB Interface Adapter is recommended. Kit includes, AuditGard Software Install CD, Programming/Audit cable (3125 Entry Device), Programming/Audit cable (for 3190, 3750-K, and 8130 Entry Devices), and USB Interface Adapter.
