Medeco³ BiLevel cylinders may be incorporated into a maser key system with Medeco³ high security, offering protection against all types of attack where needed, and patented key control cylinders for areas requiring less protection. BiLevel cylinders offer patented control against unauthorized duplication of keys without the additional security features protecting against force or surreptitious attack. The 20 series Key-in-Knob cylinders are UL437 Listed for drill and pick resistance, and those that incorporate the Medeco³ design offer utility patented key control.

The ND series with Sparta trim is not compatible with 17 bow (Biaxial large bow) keys. 12 bow (small bow) or 18 bow (large bow/extended throat) keys must be used instead.
